Volunteers

These individuals and groups help to make our event a celebration of community ... Participants receive recognition certificates from the Pine Island Chamber, helping to fulfill their community service requirements for graduation, confirmation, or badge requirements .


  • WVCSD High School and Middle School Students

    These students help with place settings, serving dinner, and busing tables for the guests.
  • Boy Scouts of America

    These young men hep to set up the tables and chairs in advance of the event.
  • BOCES

    These students are enrolled in our local culinary arts program. This year they will assist the chefs in the preparation of each course, which allows them hands-on experience in an on-site kitchen.
  • Community Volunteers

    These women are parents, PTA members, and community activists who act as student liaisons, ensure adequate staffing, proper service, and help keep the flow of the event moving on schedule.
  • Black Dirt Feast Committee Volunteers

    These men and women (members of the Pine Island Chamber of Commerce and other members of the community) engage in months of planning, research, and organization so that our guests can experience something unique and memorable that also benefits the greater PIne Island community.
