Mar 3 | Sugar Loaf Sunday Social | 4-8PM
For ONE NIGHT only, Sunday, March 3, 2013, from 4-8 pm, Chef Sherry Wyckoff of Something Wonderful Catering once again opens her heart (and kitchen) and cooks up an evening of delicious 'Black Dirt goodness. RSVPs are being accepted now for the delightful benefit dinner Sherry calls "A fabulous feast for friends and neighbors" - the Sugar Loaf Sunday Social!

Thanks to overwhelming community support of the three SOLD OUT Sugar Loaf Sunday Socials in 2012,  over $5000 was donated to the Alamo Farm Workers Center food bank!  This year, Sherry has time to dish up only ONE Sugar Loaf Sunday Social event, and 100% of the donations from this year’s supper will go to benefit the Alamo's Hot Meals Program.  Please make your reservation now -  don't miss the ONLY Sugar Loaf Sunday Social event this winter!  Mix and mingle with great company, enjoy a bountiful assortment of Sherry's trademark (and tantalizing) appetizers, vegetarian and meat based dishes, delicious culinary surprises, salads, home baked breads and a yummy selection of Chef Sherry's absolutely decadent desserts.

Bring your appetite - and your friends!
The SLSS will be held in the upstairs gallery of the yellow barn on the Seligman Farm Estate, 23 White Oak Drive, Sugar Loaf, NY, 10981. Doors open at 4 pm.  Dinner will be served (buffet style) from 4:30 - 6:30, followed by dessert and coffee, with live music throughout the evening.  SLSS is very pleased to again welcome Chip Murray, one of Warwick’s most talented singer/songwriters, as the evening's special musical  guest. For dinner reservations, call the Orange County Citizen’s Foundation: (845) 469-9459.  Please leave  your name, number of seats you'd like to reserve and (VERY IMPORTANT!) a phone number so your reservation can be confirmed.

The suggested dinner donation is $35 per person.  EVERY dollar from each dinner reservation goes DIRECTLY to the ‘Alamo Hot Meals Program’, where from January through Easter, Hudson River Healthcare and the Alamo Farm Worker Center in Goshen, NY, bring together farm worker families from the Black Dirt region, serving a nutritious, hot Sunday dinner to a community that often experiences not only social isolation, but difficulty providing well balanced meals throughout the winter season.
