Featuring Speaker: Father Patrick Buckley - St. Stephen’s Church. This year's theme: "What the Cross Means to Me"| Sponsored by the Warwick Valley Ecumenical Council, The Warwick United Methodist Church. A series of luncheons every Wednesday afternoon from February 13th through March 12th. The events will take place in the fellowship hall of the Warwick United Methodist Church on Forester Avenue. Tickets are $7 per person at the door and a nursery will be provided. Each week the attendees will sing together, share a hot lunch and hear a message from a local clergy person. The speakers will give a personal message out of their own faith tradition about the meaning of Jesus’ death. The Ecumenical Council welcomes everyone from all of our local churches and surrounding community to these luncheons. For more information, call 986-1030

Mar 31- Apr 1 | Used Clothing Drive | 8AM-5PM
St. Stephen's Parish in Warwick will be holding a used clothing drive on March 31 and April 1 in the parish school gymnasium. The items collected will be sent to third world countries. The items accepted include: usable and wearable clothing for all seasons (men's, ladies', children's), pocketbooks, backpacks, briefcases, belts, hats, gloves, baby accessories scarves ties, blankets, bed sheets, bedspreads, pillows, quilts, comforters, kitchen and bath accessories made of fabric, table cloths, drapery, curtains, towels, bath rugs, stuffed animals, beanie babies, cars, trucks, airplanes, action figures, dolls and doll houses. Hard toys should fit in a 24"x24"x21" box.
Donations must be placed in well tied garbage bags.Please bring your donation to St. Stephen's school gymnasium on Sunday, March 31 between 8am -3pm, or Monday, April 1 between 8am -5pm. For more information, contact Mary at 845-325-4638 or email jmjuli@warwick.net. |
