The education committee is hosting a community yard sale, Saturday, in Lewis Park to raise money needed for the completion of the Education Center at Baird's Tavern.  There are four ways in which one can participate in this event. Rent a table from the Society and have your own sale - $30 for members, $35 for non members Donate to the Historical Society's yard sale table  - vintage items. Incredible values and lots of interesting things from people's attics and basements.

The First Annual Artists Exhibition sponsored by The Historical Society of the Town of Warwick and the Warwick Art League.   The exhibition, open to all painters, will feature scenes of the Warwick Valley.  It will be on display in the Ballroom at Baird’s Tavern, 50 Main Street, Warwick, NY from Saturday, September 27 (opening reception) until Saturday, October 26th.  The exhibition will be open on Wednesdays and Saturdays in October from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.  For more information click on the Society’s website

Sep | Second annual Empty Bowls Event | 2-5 pm
Empty Bowls is a fundraiser to raise money to combat hunger. Last year, we raised $6000 for the Hudson Valley Food Bank. Please join us at the Bellvale Community in Chester NY for wonderful music, good food, a pottery demo and more. Suggested donation for a bowl (to keep) and soup (to eat) is only $20. Many local potters (nationally prominent artists) are donating beautiful work). the last few will be glazed and fired this week. The event promises to be fun and meaningful and we hope you'll join us for all or part of the time.
