Grassland Cheese Consortium
Founded by Jonathan White, Cheesemaker and Nina Stein White, Dancemaker, who established Egg Farm Dairy in 1994. They left Egg Farm in June 2000, and started the Grasslands Cheese Consortium, in order to share their cheesemaking experiences with others. Now, at Bobolink Dairy, they are continuing the work of the GCC  through professional internships and workshops for the general public.
Hudson Valley Agricultural Partnership
HVAP is a network of farmers, agricultural organizations, farmers’ market organizers, government and economic development officials, elected leaders, land trusts, chambers of commerce, consultants, writers,  not-for-profit organizations, planners, educators, conservationists, consumers and concerned citizens who share a fundamental vision and an essential mission. Agriculture, a vital part of the heritage of the Hudson River Valley, will thrive in harmony with the natural environment. It will be recognized for its significant contributions to the region’s economy and quality of life.  Its innovative approaches and solutions will be well known locally, nationally and even internationally.  This vision can only be achieved through the cooperative efforts of farmers, local leaders, all levels of government, business, organizations and a well-informed, supportive public. The Hudson Valley’s 3998 farms represent about 17% or more than 1000 square miles of the region’s landscape.
