Biography
Cynthia studied Studio Art and English at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.  A member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Societies, Cynthia earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Fairfield University in 1997.
After college, Cynthia gained business experience working in marketing communications and corporate writing, while painting part-time. Then, in the Spring of 2004, Cynthia started Papaleo Paintings & Design, based in Florida, New York.
Cynthia started her art career in color photography and landscape oil painting.  Now with more than ten years of experience in the studio arts, the artist’s work has expanded to include customized pet portraits, house portraits, children’s murals, and paintings on glass. 
The artist’s work has been exhibited at the 1929 Gallery at Eisenhower Hall, West Point, New York, Gallery 211 at the Art Barn, Ossining, New York, and the Lycian Theatre, Sugar Loaf, New York, and has been commissioned for private collections.
A member of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, Warwick Art League and Washingtonville Art Society, Cynthia resides in Florida, New York, with her husband and Saint Bernard.
