Mission Statement
The Warwick Valley Center’s mission is to create an interactive learning environment where members of the community can develop a better appreciation, respect, understanding, and desire for the arts and culture of the Hudson Valley, while encouraging visitors to become more knowledgeable about cultural diversity and freedom of expression.

Business Concept
The Warwick Valley Center for the Arts is conceived as a means of meeting the underserved needs of artists and the public interest in all areas of the arts, through education, exploration, exhibition, and entertainment. It serves the larger region that encompasses the Warwick and Hudson Valleys of New York State and the northwestern portion of New Jersey, incorporating a comprehensive, multi-cultural, community outreach program, with arts and culture of the Hudson Valley. The Arts & Music Institute augments the Center, featuring the latest technology in design, equipment, techniques, and presentation.

The Center’s concept consists of three integral components:

1. Establishment of an Arts and Music Institute that complements the educational objectives in local schools while serving the need for advanced work in the arts.

2. Creation of a regionally prominent facility, sufficient to become a home for a major regional orchestra, a theatre group, an opera company, a dance troupe, and an independent film series, that will provide an unparalleled environment where artists perform to a growing audience of residents and visitors.

3. Integration of the Community with the Center to enrich the lives of residents and provide a steadily growing audience for the arts in general and students for classes, in particular.
